1. Purpose of Supplier Diversity Program

We actively seek to build sustainable relationships with suppliers that are certified as Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Women Business Enterprises (WBE), Veteran Business Enterprises (VBE), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVBE), LGBTQ+-Owned Businesses (LGBTBE), and Disability-Owned Businesses (DOBE) nationally recognized certifying organizations such as WBENC, NMSDC, NGLCC, Disability:IN, CVE, and SBA 8(a).


2. Program Goals

Volantsoft’s Supplier Diversity Program establishes the following measurable goals to ensure accountability and meaningful participation:

3. Plan to Achieve Goals

Volantsoft’s structured plan ensures that diversity goals are integrated into our daily operations and project execution:

  • Internal Governance:
    A dedicated Supplier Diversity Coordinator (under the Office of the Account Manager) manages partner vetting, certification verification, participation tracking, and reporting.
  • Implementation in Procurement:
    All proposals, bids, and contracts will include supplier diversity participation targets and identify qualified certified partners aligned with project scope.
  • Data Tracking and Reporting:
    Maintain an internal database of certified suppliers, including partner certifications and expiration dates. Reports will be submitted quarterly to management and made available to the Commonwealth upon request.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Review and update this policy annually to reflect evolving Commonwealth SDP standards, OSD guidance, and federal supplier diversity best practices.
  • Transparency and Accountability:
    Provide certification and spend documentation upon request by state agencies or clients and publish progress summaries in sustainability reports or internal newsletters.
